Profile

The Adopted School Cell was established on 9th November 2021. The College undertook a “School Adoption Programme”, in which it was decided to adopt various schools within the locality of Lakhipur town. Till date, Lakhipur College has adopted three schools.

Aims and Objectives of the Cell

·To provide holistic education to the children in Government schools.

·To organise orientation lectures for overall development of students and teachers.

·To share knowledge, information, resources and innovative thoughts.

·To facilitate faculty development programmes in collaborative mode.

·To help improving in co-curricular activities along with advancement in academics.

·To organise extension education programmes in collaborative mode for the benefits of the students.

Faculty Development Programme	FDP on "Innovative Teaching Method in lower and upper primary stage" was organised in Balaikhamar M.V. School where all the teachers of the school participated in the programme. Dr. Barnali Rabha, Dr. Rupali Rongpipi, Heerak Jyoti Nath and Sarat Kumar Nath (all are Asst. Prof. of Lakhipur College) were the resource persons.	27-01-2022
Celebration of Children's day in Balaikhamar M.V. School.	9 faculties from Lakhipur College went to the school to celebrate Children's day. Students performed in many cultural events and gifts and balloons were distributed by the Lakhipur College.	14-11-2022
Orientation Program in Novel Academy	An Orientation Program in collaboration with Department of Economics on ‘Importance of Economics’ was organised for students of class 10 and 11 of Novel Academy, Lakhipur. Dr. Gulshanara Begum and Epsita Chakraborty (R.P.) carried out the program	07-05-2023
Orientation Program in Fatengapara High School	An Orientation Program in collaboration with Department of Economics on ‘Scope of Economics’ was organised for students of class 10 Fatengapara High School, Lakhipur. Outreach Program at Baisa High School	In Collaboration with Department of Political Science and IQAC, Lakhipur Colege, an outreach program was organised with class 9 and 10 standard students of the said school, where, Rubina Sarkar, Asst. Celebration of Children's Day in Balaikhamar M.V. School.	Dr. Bijaya Devi, Dr. Kashyap Bishwas and Epsita Chakraborty, from Lakhipur College, went to the said school to celebrate Children's Day, where quiz, dance, singing and poem recition competition among the students were organised. Celebration of International Mother Language Day at Folimari High School	Some of the teaching staffs of Lakhipur College went to Folimari High School to celebrate International Mother Language Day with their students.	21-02-2024
Extempore Speech Competition at Novel Academy	In collaboration with women, an extempore speech competition was organised for class 11th standard. Dr. Barnali Rabha, Rubina Sarkar and Epsita Chakraborty went there. Certificates were distributed to the winners and chocolates to the participants.	11-03-2024
